The second round of the Atlantic Rally Cup is quickly approaching. The SandBlast Rally is being held on February 6, 2010 in the sand hills of South Carolina. This rally is one of the most succesful gravel rallies in the U.S. turning out record number of entries of both cars and motorbikes.

The State of Florida currently has 5 teams headed to this rally and this number grows every year. This rally is centered geographically and has seen competitors from the lower tip of Florida to the far northeast of the US.

For those who plan on running their first rally, SandBlast would be the best starting point. The surface is nearly all a mix of sand and clay, meaning punctures are rare and most of the roads have large banks of sand so if you go into turn a little wrong the bank will keep you in.

If you are not sure what to expect or are a little unsure of a stage rally then you should consider volunteering. That would give you the closest view to the action aside from being in one of the race cars.

Hey guys, I have some information on some potential sponsor opportunities. This is a partnership program thru Subaru, VW, Team Dynamics, and SCCA that allows racers to win cash prizes for placing in the tops of your class at a SCCA national event.
