In just 9 days The Florida rally cross season will begin. The first event will be 1.14.2012 @ Orlando Speed World in the Orlando Florida area. This is the first time ever running a rally event here but we all ready have 25 entries and 20 of those are completely new to the program. Bringing in new racers is very important to the motor sport so we are on the right track in 2012. Looks like the Orlando area has been waiting for an event like this and we are proud to bring it to them.

Find a Site and Race for Free!

This program is to help out our local SCCA regions find suitable rally cross locations. We are looking for any possible locations that could host a rally event. If you can find a location for SCCA to rally on then you will be eligible for a free entry fee. If the place becomes a hit and we run multiple events then you can run half off for the next two events. Hopefully that sweet enough for ya. So go out and find us some rally worthy locations. Rally Site Requirements
    Enough space to run a 3/4 to a mile course
    Take a look at the surface. If super soft then prob wont hold up to the abuse.

    SCCA is a nationally recognized organization    
    SCCA has there own Insurance in case of a mishap
    Florida SCCA Rally Program has never had a mishap and has not had to utilize insurance
    We are always clean and polite to surrounding neighborhoods
    SCCA is prepared to rent property for a reasonable price
    

Central Florida SCCA and Florida Region SCCA have agreed to work together this year to produce a more complete SCCA Rally Cross schedule for 2012. This means more events in different locations. Already, we are starting off the new year with a new event at the SpeedWorld Dragway of Orlando. This partnership between SCCA regions is a little unheard of but truly makes sense. The championship point system is still questionable. In the past if you were a CFR member than you were not able to win any awards from a Florida region championship or vice versa. I will try my best to make this go away and have one series. Let us welcome Central Florida Region SCCA RallyX to the state and wish them the best.
