The European Rally and Performance Driving School Will be hosting their Annual Tarmac Rally in December. NASA RallySport will be the sanctioning body and is the last event of the championship. Originally the event was scheduled for March but was moved to late 2010. In the mean time the course underwent some upgrades and repaving. This will be 80 competitive miles all on tarmac with short gravel transfers. There will be no transits because all racing will be held inside the European Rally Schools property. ERS has been the first group to have a Stage Rally in Florida and they know what they are doing. Competitors, Volunteers, and Spectators are all welcome. The title says it all and is describing the conditions of the last rally cross. The 7th round of the Florida SCCA Rally Cross was held at the St. Lucie County Fairgrounds for the first time. Glad to say that this location passed with flying colors and is the all time best location so far.The day started out with plenty of heat and humidity.As the first half of the day was up a serious thunderstorm rolled through threatening to kill the event. After heavy downpours the rain led up letting the racing continue. Now the surface was completely different and so followed driving techniques. All drivers were driving like mad men through the mud covered course. Everyone was still stuck on flat out and threw all else out of the window. Via I95

From Palm Beach County, Martin County, or Port Saint Lucie Take I95 North. Exit at Midway Rd. (Exit 126) go west 4.5 miles to fair grounds on left.

From Melbourne, Sebastian, Vero Beach, or North Ft. Pierce Take I95 South. Exit Okeechobee Rd (Exit 129) go west 7 miles turn left to fairgrounds.

Via Florida Turnpike

From Palm Beach County, Martin County, or Port Saint Lucie Take the Turnpike North. Exit 152 (Ft. Pierce) turn left at red light (SR 70) go 6.5 miles to fair grounds on left.

From Melbourne, Sebastian, Vero Beach, or North Ft. Pierce Take the Turnpike South. Exit 152 (Ft. Pierce) turn left at red light (SR 70) go 6.5 miles to fair grounds on left.

Via U.S. Hwy 1 (Federal Hwy)

From Sebastian, Vero Beach, or North Ft. Pierce Go South on U.S. 1. Turn right on Virginia Ave continue West to Okeechobee Rd. (Virginia Ave turns into Okeechobee Rd), continue West past I95 and the Turnpike, follow signs to fair grounds.

From Martin County or Port Saint Lucie Go North on U.S. 1. Turn left on to Midway Rd. continue West past I95 to fair grounds.

Via 25th St.

From North Ft. Pierce Go South on 25th St. Turn Right on Virginia Ave. continue West to Okeechobee Rd. (Virginia Ave turns into Okeechobee Rd), continue West past I95 and the Turnpike, follow signs to fair grounds.

From Port St. Lucie Go North on 25th St. Turn left on to Midway Rd. continue West past I95 to fair grounds.
